ABOUT US

White Feather Care was founded by Emily Spearing, a passionate, committed and highly qualified Senior Care Worker. Working with the caring industry for over 17 years Emily has gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge at all levels – from being hands on with patients to running a private care home.

Emily’s ability and commitment to the care sector has been recognised through the numerous awards she has won, including national awards for Young Care Practitioner and Care Leadership and gaining Beacon Status for her end of life care.

It was this experience, passion and empathy that led Emily to set up White Feather Care to enhance the lives of those who need assistance in the latter years of their life, by offering support to them and their families.

As well as the older generation, Emily is also qualified to care for people with long term, debilitative illnesses or those receiving palliative care.

Emily has NVQs (Level 2,3,4) in Care, Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services and NVQs (Level 2 & 3) in End of Life Care. White Feather Care is DBS approved and fully insured.
